About us

This website is part of Ticket Visit, a project run by travellers who select, cross-check and verify the practical details so we can tell you—plainly and honestly—the best way to visit each place. Here you'll find who we are, how we work and what our relationship with Civitatis is.

What Ticket Visit is

Ticket Visit is an independent portal with practical guides to tickets and experiences at monuments and museums. On this website we focus on the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum—housed in the Palacio de Villahermosa, on the Paseo del Prado—and on the Art Walk (Paseo del Arte), the pass that combines the Thyssen with the Prado and the Reina Sofía. We are not the museum's official website: we are a travel guide that helps you decide and book with ease.

Who's behind it

Daniel Maroto Pérez — Editorial lead

Traveller and editor responsible for Ticket Visit's content. I personally review every Thyssen guide, cross-check the details—prices, collection, opening times and how to get there—against the museum's own sources and Civitatis, and update the information whenever it changes. You can write to me at info@tickets-visit.com with any question or correction.

How we select and verify information

Transparency and affiliation

We work with Civitatis, one of the leading activity platforms for Spanish-speaking travellers and a strong option for booking in English. When you book through our links, we may earn a commission from Civitatis at no extra cost to you: you pay exactly the same as if you booked directly. That commission is what lets us keep the website running and keep improving the guides. We never recommend an experience just because it earns a commission: if something isn't worth it, we say so.

Any ratings and reviews you may see on the site come from the product page on Civitatis and are always attributed to that platform. We do not invent scores or review counts.

Shall we talk?

If you have a question, a correction or you'd like to tell us about your visit to the Thyssen, we'd love to hear from you.
